We have a steady group of customers in Switzerland and ship bikes and parts reliably with UPS for a flat fee. Your STRIDA or parts arrive within 3 to 5 working days, sometimes sooner and sometimes a few days later; this mostly depends on Swiss customs.
Import duties and fees
On import you generally pay (official information: Tares, the Swiss customs tariff):
- 8.1% VAT, always
- an import duty that depends on the product (see the customs tariff)
- fixed fees of customs and the shipping company

- 0% import duty
- 8.1% VAT
- handling fees of UPS / DHL and Swiss customs
Fees, duty and VAT together come to roughly 10 to 15% of the price you paid in our shop. We cannot give an exact percentage because the fees of customs and UPS vary, but this gives you a fair idea of what to expect. (Last checked: June 2024.)

No Dutch VAT
We do not charge the Dutch VAT of 21% when your billing and shipping address are in Switzerland.
Paying in euros
Our prices are in euros; check the current EUR / CHF rate with your bank or a currency site. For the best exchange rate and low fees we recommend paying with Wise (formerly TransferWise).
